Seven people have been reported missing, including Lieutenant commander Marie Durand’s son, Aiden Durand. Officials say this can be related to the recent pirate activity in Kepler Verge.

 

Resolving this quest successfully (all hostages are saved) will trigger an email from Marie Durand thanking Shepard for “helping out again”.

If Aiden Durand gets killed another news report happens:

The search for missing individuals in Kepler Verge has ended in tragedy. All seven hostages have been found killed or critically wounded with no track of their murderers left.
